On UT day 30-Sep solar activity is expected to be R1 with a chance of
R2. S0 solar radiation storm conditions are expected. The solar wind
speed is expected to be light to moderate. G1 geomagnetic conditions
were observed overnight in association with southward interplanetary
magnetic field conditions. Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be
G0 for today. HF radio propagation conditions are expected to be fair
for the southern Australian region and normal for the northern
Australian region. Maximum usable frequencies in the southern
Australian region are expected to be depressed 15-20% slowly
recovering during the local day. Northern Australian region MUFs are
expected to be near predicted monthly values to 15% enhanced. Isolated
shortwave fadeouts are possible.
