Solar activity on UT day 29-Nov is expected to be R1-R2. An increase
in solar flare activity is expected due to a new currently active
solar region and the return of a previously active solar region. S0
solar radiation storm conditions are expected. The solar wind speed is
expected to be moderate to strong, with an overall declining trend. G0
geomagnetic conditions are expected. HF radio propagation conditions
are expected to be initially fair then improving to normal. Maximum
usable frequencies (MUFs) in the Australian region were depressed by
15-30% after local dawn this morning and are expected to be initially
15-20% depressed then gradually recovering to near predicted monthly
values. Isolated shortwave fadeouts are possible.
