On UT day 04-Jan solar activity is expected to be R1-R2. A solar
region in the northeast solar quadrant is currently flare active. The
solar wind speed is expected to be light to moderate. G0, chance G1
geomagnetic conditions are expected. HF radio propagation conditions
are expected to be fair to normal. Maximum usable frequencies in the
Australian region are expected to be depressed by 10-15% to near
predicted monthly values. S0 solar radiation storm conditions are
expected. Shortwave fadeouts are probable.
