Geomagnetic storm activity induced by the transit of a CME has now
declined. Solar activity on UT day 12-Oct is expected to be at R1-R2
levels. The solar wind speed is expected to be initially strong with a
declining trend. G0-G1 geomagnetic conditions are expected. The recent
S3 solar radiation storm has ended and S0 solar radiation storm
conditions are expected. HF radio communication conditions are
expected to be good. Maximum useable frequencies (MUFs) are expected
to be near predicted monthly values to 20% enhanced. Shortwave
fadeouts are possible.
