[ips-sf] ASWFC Summary Forecast for 24 July - issued 2325UT/23-Jul-2024 [SEC=OFFICIAL]

On UT day 24-Jul, solar activity is expected to be R1 with a chance
for R2. The solar wind speed is expected to be light to moderate
following a weak shock arrival. G0, chance G1 geomagnetic conditions
are expected. S1 solar radiation storm conditions are in progress with
a declining trend and the S1 event is expected to end today. Polar
region HF communication has been mildly impacted at times by slightly
increased absorption due to the S1 event. HF radio communication
conditions are expected to be normal. Maximum usable frequencies are
expected to be near predicted values to 15% enhanced. Isolated minor
shortwave fadeouts are possible. Mildly degraded HF conditions for the
southern Australian region over 24-25 July are now not expected.
