On UT day 09-Aug solar activity is expected to be R1-R2, chance R3. An
R3 flare was observed 08/1935UT. The solar wind speed is expected to
be light, increasing toward the end of the UT day due to a possible
weak CME arrival. G0 geomagnetic conditions are generally expected,
with a slight chance of G1 conditions during the second half of the UT
day. G1-G2 conditions may be experienced on 10-Aug due to recent CME
activity and may extend into the 11-Aug due to the recent R3 flare and
possible associated CME. S0 solar radiation storm conditions are
expected, with a chance for an S1-Minor event. Maximum usable
frequencies for HF are expected to be near predicted values to 15%
enhanced. HF radio communication conditions are expected to be fair to
normal for today. HF fadeouts are probable.
