[ips-sf] ASWFC Summary Forecast for 09 August - issued 2028UT/08-Aug-2024 [SEC=OFFICIAL]

An R3 X1.3 flare was observed at 08/1935UT, impacting HFCOM in the
East Pacific/North American region. The flare was located at S10W24
(AR3777) and an S1-S2 solar radiation storm may follow this flare. On
UT day 08-Aug solar activity is expected to be R1-R2, chance R3. The
solar wind speed is expected to be light. G0 geomagnetic conditions
are expected. G1-G2 conditions may be experienced on 10-Aug due to
recent CME activity. S0 solar radiation storm conditions are expected,
with a chance for S1. Maximum usable frequencies for HF are expected
to be near predicted values to 15% enhanced. HF radio communication
conditions are expected to be normal for today.
