Solar activity is expected to be low to moderate on UT day 28 August
because there is a chance for an M-class flare due to the flaring
potential of AR2860. The solar wind speed is expected to stay at
slightly to moderately enhanced levels. Further increase in the solar
wind speed may occur at the end of UT day 28 August due to expected
arrival of the two 26 August CMEs. Geomagnetic conditions are expected
to be mostly unsettled to active with a possibility of an isolated
minor storm period at the end of the day if the two CMEs will arrive
at the Earth by that time. MUFs in the Australian region are expected
to be mostly near predicted monthly values. Short-wave fadeouts are
possible.
