Very low solar activity is expected today, 9 February. The solar wind
speed is currently at moderate levels and declining due to a waning
coronal hole. The solar wind is expected to reach its nominal levels
late today. Geomagnetic conditions are predicted to be mostly at quiet
levels and at times may reach unsettled levels. Normal HF propagation
conditions are expected, with a possibility of periods of minor to
moderate depressions in maximum usable frequencies (MUFs).
