Very Low solar activity is expected for today, UT day 17 May, with a
remote chance of C-class flares. The earth is currently under the
influence of moderately enhanced solar wind speed due to the passage
of the CMEs. The Geomagnetic activity in the Australian region is
expected to be mostly at Quiet to Unsettled levels and at times may
reach active levels. High-frequency radio communication users are
advised to use near predicted monthly frequencies today over the
Australian region and below monthly predicted levels over the Northern
mid and high latitude regions.
