The earth appears to be under the initial impact of the 20 March CME.
Examination of real-time solar-wind measurements from DSCOVR satellite
indicates that a sudden perturbation - shock in solar wind starting at
24/2043 UT, possibly caused by the late arrival of 20 March CME. If
north-south component of interplanetary magnetic field (IMF Bz) turns
southward for prolonged period, Active to Minor storms (G1) and at
times Major storms (G2) conditions can occur within the next 24 hours.
