Sun Mar 24 09:55:50 EST 2019
Low to Moderate solar activity is expected for UT day 23 March with a
remote chance that the active region 2736 will produce an isolated
M-class flare. Today, UT day 24 March, the solar wind speed is
predicted to remain at its background levels and geomagnetic
conditions in the Australian region are expected to be Quiet until the
arrival of 20 March CME. Upon arrival of the CME the solar wind speed
can increase to moderate levels or higher and geomagnetic activity can
reach Minor Storm levels with possible isolated Major Storm periods.
High-frequency radio communication users are advised to use mostly
near predicted monthly frequencies. If communication difficulties are
experienced because of the anticipated geomagnetic storm, try a lower
frequency band.
