Wed Jan 30 10:44:23 EST 2019
Very Low solar activity with a chance for C-class flares is expected
today, 30 January. The solar wind speed is expected to remain near its
background level for most of the UT day 30 January, then it may
enhance due to expected arrival of the corotating interaction region
and high speed solar wind streams associated with a recurrent coronal
hole. Geomagnetic activity is expected to increase to Unsettled levels
and at times may reach Active levels if the solar wind becomes
enhanced. High-frequency radio communication users are advised to use
slightly lower to near predicted monthly frequencies.
