A recurrent positive polarity coronal hole has reached geoeffective
location on the solar disk. Within the next 12-24 hours, the earth can
be under the influence of co-rotating interaction region associated
with the coronal hole. This could lead to unsettled geomagnetic
conditions. The solar winds are expected to enhance from latter today,
16 February, in response to the coronal hole effects. The solar
flaring activity continue to remain at very low levels. However, there
may be some changes in flaring activity due to the arrival of a new
sunspot region on the visible solar disk. High-frequency radio
communication users are advised to use monthly predicted frequencies.
