Solar activity on the UT day 10 Feb was at very low levels with one
weak C-flare. The outlook for UT day 11 Feb is for C-class flares are
possible. A Coronal Mass Ejection was observed on the satellite
imagery at 09/0648 UT centered near S21W54. Update on the impact of
this event will be provided upon completion of our model run. The
solar winds is currently steady, near 400 km/s. A new small equatorial
coronal hole is taking geoeffective location on the solar disk. High
speed solar wind streams from this coronal hole may cause some active
geomagnetic conditions on UT day 12 Feb. Conditions for HF radio wave
propagation are near the monthly predicted levels.
