Solar activity on the UT day 9 Feb was at very low levels with one
weak C-flare. The outlook for UT day 10 Feb is for C-class flares are
possible. The long length disappearing solar filament centered near
N20E20 and occurring between 08/1740 UT - 08/2308 UT seem to have
generated a narrow coronal mass ejection (CME). Impact of this event
on Earth will be provided upon completion of the model runs. The solar
winds is currently moderately high, near 400 km/s. These are waning
effects of the coronal hole. Conditions for HF radio wave propagation
are above normal, slightly higher than the monthly predicted values.
