Fri Apr 15 09:27:07 EST 2016
Low to moderate solar flare activity is expected for 15-Apr, with a
moderate chance of an M-class flare from region 2529 (N10W07). A
glancing blow from a coronal mass ejection resulted in a weak solar
wind shock and a subsequent increase in geomagnetic activity to storm
levels across Australia. Quiet to unsettled conditions are expected
for Australia on 15-Apr. Short-wave radio fadeouts are possible.
High-frequency radio communications will likely be fair to normal at
all latitudes, with some periods of moderate MUF depressions.
