Solar activity on UT day 5 April was at very low levels with no
notable flares. The solar wind has been at moderate level of ~400 km/s
in the past 24 hrs. The solar wind conditions are expected to enhance
slightly over the next 24 hours in response to a small recurrent
southern hemisphere coronal hole moving into a geoeffective location.
The geomagnetic conditions are expected to remain at quiet to
unsettled levels today. High-frequency radio communications conditions
are expected to be mildly depressed to near predicted monthly values
today, 6 April.
