Low solar flare activity. Moderate coronal mass ejection effects in
progress following a significant Southward turning of the
Interplanetary Magnetic Field. Light to moderate solar wind.
Geomagnetic conditions at active levels with some storm level periods.
High-frequency radio communications fair with widespread moderate MUF
depressions observed after local dawn on Dec 21. Aurora sightings may
be possible from southern Australian regions if geomagnetic activity
persists into local night-time hours.
