Low solar flare activity. Minor coronal mass ejection effects likely.
A sequence of mild to moderate solar wind shocks is anticipated early
in the UT day Dec 19. Light to moderate solar wind may become enhanced
post-shock, persisting for up to one day. Geomagnetic conditions quiet
at time of report issue but expected to reach minor storm levels
post-shock. High-frequency radio communications normal at all
latitudes with some degraded conditions expected at high latitudes.
Aurora sightings possible from southern Australian regions should
geomagnetic activity persist into local night-time hours.
