Expect Low solar flare activity and a light solar wind. Geomagnetic
conditions will be at quiet to unsettled levels today. High-frequency
radio communications will be fair to normal. A coronal mass ejection
from the sun was observed on 12 August in association with filament
eruption and is expected to arrive at Earth with a glancing blow on 16
August. This will likely cause an increase in geomagnetic activity
with chance of aurora sighting at high latitudes during the nighttime
hours of 16 August.
