Very low solar flare activity. Coronal hole effects in progress.
Strong solar wind. Despite a strong solar wind stream the geomagnetic
activity did not rise as per the previous expectations, possibly
because the Bz component of IMF remained mostly positive over the last
24 hours. Geomagnetic conditions may be expected to stay mostly at
quiet to unsettled levels with small possibility of isolated active
periods on 2 August. High-frequency radio communications are expected
to remain normal to fair due to continued low levels of ionising
radiation and expected minor rise in geomagnetic activity levels on 2
August.
