Moderate to high solar flare activity with an X5 flare from sunspot
group AR1990 newly rotated onto solar disc, which has been active on
previous rotations as AR1967 and AR1944. Light solar wind. Geomagnetic
conditions at quiet levels. Short-wave radio fadeouts likely.
High-frequency radio communications frequencies normal to slightly
enhanced at all latitudes, except during short wave fadouts from M/X
class x-ray flares.
