Solar flare activity is at moderate levels with two sunspot regions on
the Sun producing multiple C class flares and a new region rotating
around from the eastern limb producing an M class flare in the last 24
hours. Multiple CMEs have been observed, although present analysis
suggests these are directed to the east of the Earth and will not
produce significant effects. However, these regions are all rotating
into a more geoeffective position in the centre of the Sun and are
expected to continue to flare. It is likely that further CMEs may be
produced over the coming days which may cause significant geomagnetic
activity. Solar wind conditions are currently normal and HF radio
communication conditions are normal.
