Wed May 9 10:21:26 EST 2012
Low to moderate solar flare activity. Solar wind speed is elevated but
geomagnetic activity is currently suppressed by the northward
orientation of the embedded solar wind magnetic field. If this field
turns southward, active to minor storm geomagnetic conditions are
likely. Short-wave radio fadeouts possible. High-frequency radio
communications normal with isolated degraded conditions possible at
high latitudes.
