SUBJ: ASWFC HF RADIO COMMUNICATIONS WARNING 25/40
ISSUED AT 2221UT/16 APRIL 2025
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

Due to recent geomagnetic activity, HF radio propagation conditions 
are expected to be degraded on 17-Apr. Maximum usable frequencies 
(MUFs) in the Australian region are expected to become depressed 
by 30-40% on 17-Apr, then improving to 10-20% depressed over 
18-19 Apr. Scintillation is possible. High latitudes likely to 
be the worst affected.
