SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 26/58
ISSUED AT 0513UT/01 OCTOBER 2026
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

A coronal mass ejection (CME) is forecast to arrive at Earth 
late on UT day 01-Oct at 2300UT +/- 10 hours. Chance of G1 planetary 
geomagnetic conditions are possible late on 01 Oct and G1 conditions 
expected on 02 Oct, with a chance of G2 conditions.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
