SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 26/33
ISSUED AT 0506UT/17 MAY 2026
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

A coronal mass ejection was observed on 16-May and is expected 
to impact Earth in the second half of the 18-May UT day. The 
impact of this CME will be exacerbated by ongoing coronal hole 
high speed wind stream effects.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
