SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 25/20
ISSUED AT 2145UT/22 MARCH 2025
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

A southeast directed faint and fast asymmetric partial halo CME 
was observed at 21/1600UT in LASCO C2 spaced based coronagraph 
imagery. A glancing blow from this CME is expected to arrive 
23/1100UT +/- 12 hours. However, the induced geomagnetic activity is 
expected to be brief due to an anticipated indirect impact and the 
low volume of ejected CME plasma.


INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED
