SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 25/05
ISSUED AT 0045UT/23 JANUARY 2025
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

There are currently two coronal mass ejections considered en 
route to Earth, the first launched on 21-Jan and then another 
on 22-Jan. The first is expected to arrive on 24-Jan and the 
second on 25-Jan. Conditions are expected to reach G1 on 24-Jan 
and climb to G2 by the onset of the second, with a slight chance 
of G3 by then.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
