SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 25/103
ISSUED AT 0550UT/29 DECEMBER 2025
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

The Earth is expected to enter a coronal hole wind stream on 
31-Dec. On 30-Dec southward IMF conditions may precede wind 
stream entry. An R1 (M4.2) flare late in the UT day on 28-Dec 
was associated with a north and west directed CME. The west 
directed component of this CME is expected to arrive during 
the second half of the UT day 31-Dec.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION AND COORNAL HOLE WIND STREAM
FROM 30 DECEMBER 2025 TO 01 JANUARY 2026
