SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 25/62
ISSUED AT 0027UT/31 AUGUST 2025
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

An asymmetrical halo CME was observed from 30/2012 UTC, with 
a weak but fast shock front ahead of it. These events are considered 
Earth-directed, and may result in a double arrival. Arrival is 
expected from 21:00 UT on 1-Sep +/- 6 hours. G3 geomagnetic conditions 
may commence from late 1-Sep or else early 2-Sep and carry on 
for the UT day 2-Sep.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
