SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 25/25
ISSUED AT 0318UT/05 APRIL 2025
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

The planetary geomagnetic activity has reached G2 for the period 
05/00-03UT, in association with southward interplanetary magnetic 
field conditions. The solar wind speed is moderately elevated 
due to a solar coronal hole wind stream. Further G2 periods are 
possible if further intervals of southward IMF conditions occur.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED
