SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 24/71
ISSUED AT 2314UT/24 OCTOBER 2024
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

Up to two CMEs are expected to arrive within quick succession 
on 26-Oct. On this day, Earth is expected to be connected to 
a small equatorial coronal hole. Overall, this is expected to 
induce G2 geomagnetic conditions with a chance of G3.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
