SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 24/64
ISSUED AT 0645UT/09 OCTOBER 2024
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

A fast halo CME was observed from 09/0212UT associated with a 
long duration X1.8 flare at 09/0156UT. Modelling suggests an 
impact on 10-Oct at 2200UT +/- 12 hours.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
