SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 24/27
ISSUED AT 2126UT/08 JUNE 2024
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

An asymmetrical halo CME was associated with an M9 flare from 
AR3697 on 08-Jun. This CME is expected to have an Earth-directed component, 
however there is high variability in the modeled arrival times. 
Current analysis suggests the arrival is likely to be in the 
second half of UT day 10-Jun.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
