SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 24/78
ISSUED AT 2355UT/29 DECEMBER 2024
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

Several coronal mass ejections, including a moderately sized 
halo, are expected to arrive at Earth from late 31-Dec to early 
01-Jan. Geomagnetic activity is generally expected to be near 
G2, however there is a chance for isolated periods of G3.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
