SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 23/57
ISSUED AT 2328UT/23 SEPTEMBER 2023
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

Numerous CMEs have been observed over the past few days. 
Glancing blows are possible on 24 and 25 Sep, although 
confidence is low regarding the timing and strength. An 
equatorial coronal hole wind stream is expected to 
combine with some CME activity, however it has not 
eventuated as yet. The combination of the CMEs, coronal 
hole and proximity to the September equinox gives a likelihood 
of some activity occurring over 24-25 Sep.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED
