SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 23/07
ISSUED AT 0525UT/25 FEBRUARY 2023
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

A CME was observed from 24/2036UT in STEREO-A and LASCO imagery, 
and has been analysed to impact Earth early on 27-Feb. Additionally, 
an equatorial coronal hole high speed wind stream is expected 
to rotate in to a geoeffective position at this time. While modelling 
suggests 27 Feb as the most likely day of impact, there is a 
small chance some geomagnetic activity may begin late on 26 Feb.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED
