SUBJ: SWS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 16/18
ISSUED AT 2336UT/08 MAY 2016
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

Due to the effect of a high speed solar wind stream from a coronal 
hole, geomagnetic activity may rise to minor storm levels and 
at times major storm levels on 9 and 10 May. Unsettled to active 
levels of geomagnetic activity with some possibility of isolated 
minor storm conditions are expected for 11 May .

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL HOLE HIGH SPEED WIND STREAM
