ISSUED AT 27/0130Z MARCH 2001
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED
FROM 27-28 MARCH 2001

A weak shock has been detected in the solar wind parameters
at 0109UT. A sudden impulse in geomagnetic field is expected
within the next 45-90 minutes. Increased geomagnetic activity
is expected to follow for 27-28 March, with storm levels possible.
