COMMENT: On UT day 08 November, solar activity was low with two
low level C-class flares from region 2895(N24E50). There are
currently three numbered regions on the visible disk. Solar activity
is expected to be very low on 09-11 November, with a chance of
C-class flares. A CME observed in LASCO C2 imagery around 08/1236UT,
it is not expected to be geoeffective. No other Earth directed
CMEs observed in the available satellite imagery. Small filament
activity observed in the NW quadrant near (N30W55). On UT day
08 November, the solar wind speed ranged between 490 and 370km/s,
gradually declining towards background level. The total IMF (Bt)
range was 3-5 nT and the north-south IMF (Bz) component range
was +3/-4 nT. Mostly near background solar wind conditions are
expected for UT days 09-11 November.

Observed Regional daily pc3 Indices 08 Nov :
      Darwin 0 (Quiet)
      Townsville 0 (Quiet)

      Hobart 10 (Quiet)

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum
of 20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be
well correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic
survey flight-line data.

NOTE: Indices may have been generated from data obtained in
cooperation with the following organisations: Geoscience Australia,
University of Newcastle Space Physics Group, Australian Government
Antarctic Division and International Center for Space Weather
Science and Education, Japan.
