10.7cm/SSN 100/48 100/48 105/54

COMMENT: All visible regions on the solar disk have been predominately
quiet during 2 Dec. Two (A1623 and 1625) out of three regions
on the disk are declining. The current spot groups are not particularly
active, solar activity is expected to be mostly at Very Low levels
over the next 3 days. CME activity observed during 02 Dec (~1030UT
and 1630 UT) is not Earth directed and is not expected to be
geoeffective. The solar wind speed remained below 350 km/s. The
IMF Bz component had a mild southward bias to -7nT during the
first part of the UT day. The solar wind is expected to be mostly
undisturbed over the next few days.

Estimated Antarctic Regional K Indices 02 Dec :
      Macquarie Island 6 12422000
      Casey 12 34332212
      Mawson 13 43332322

Observed Regional daily pc3 Indices 02 Dec :
      Darwin 0 (Quiet)
      Townsville 0 (Quiet)
      Learmonth 0 (Quiet)
      Alice Springs 0 (Quiet)
      Gnangara 0 (Quiet)
      Canberra 0 (Quiet)

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum
of 20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be
well correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic
survey flight-line data.

NOTE: Indices may have been generated from data obtained in
cooperation with the following organisations: Geoscience Australia,
University of Newcastle Space Physics Group, Australian Government
Antarctic Division and International Center for Space Weather
Science and Education, Japan.

Estimated AFr/Ap Indices 02 Dec : A
           Fredericksburg 7
           Planetary 8

Observed AFr/Ap Indices 01 Dec : A K

2B. MAGNETIC FORECAST
Date Ap Conditions
03 Dec 5 Quiet
04 Dec 5 Quiet
05 Dec 5 Quiet

COMMENT: The regional geomagnetic field was at Quiet to Unsettled
levels during the last 24 hours. Unsettled activity occurred
in the first half of the UT day, 02 Dec. This activity was associated
with a mild prolonged southward Bz component of the interplanetary
magnetic field peaking near -7nT at ~08UT. Geomagnetic activity
has decrease and is expected to remain Quiet for the next three
days.
