Activity Low Low Low
Fadeouts None expected None expected None expected
10.7cm/SSN 155/109 150/105 145/99
ACE EPAM data indicates an energetic ion enhancement event beginning
12/0635UT, which can be a precursor to increased geomagnetic
activity over next 24-36 hours.
A possible weak shock was observed in the solar wind at 1049UT
on 12 Aug.

Hobart 9 011- 2432
Observed Regional daily pc3 Indices 12 AUG :
Darwin 2 (Quiet)
Townsville 0 (Quiet)
Learmonth 2 (Quiet)
Canberra 2 (Quiet)
Hobart 14 (Quiet)
Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3 indices are the daily sum
of 20 minute pc3 indices for that station.
Estimated AFr/Ap Indices 12 Aug : A
Fredericksburg 15
Planetary 20
Observed AFr/Ap Indices 11 Aug : A K
Fredericksburg 2
Planetary 6 3012 2222
2B. MAGNETIC FORECAST
Date Ap Conditions
13 Aug 30 Active to Minor storm
14 Aug 18 active
15 Aug 12 Unsettled
COMMENT: IPS Geomagnetic Warning 26 was issued on 10 August and
is current for interval 12-13 August. The geomagenetic field
is likely to be at active to minor storm levels thru a combination
of coronal hole and CME events.
