FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE

A coronal mass ejection is expected to impact the Earth within the
next 24-36 hours, possibly resulting in visible auroras during local
nighttime hours in Tasmania and southern Victoria. Aurora alerts will
follow if significant geomagnetic activity and auroras actually occur,
most likely on 12-May from early morning and evening.
