SUBJ: SWS AURORA WATCH
ISSUED AT 0733 UT ON 12 May 2021 by Space Weather Services
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE

The anticipated CME arrived earlier than expected at approximately
0548UT with a moderate increase in solar wind parameters including an
increase in solar wind speed of approximately 120 km/s and IMF
increase of approximately 10-20nT. Geomagnetic activity may become
mildly elevated should sustained periods of southward IMF occur over
coming hours. Aurora alerts will follow if significant geomagnetic
activity actually occurs.
