ISSUED AT 0016 UT ON 12 May 2021 by Space Weather Services
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE
The possible arrival of the 9 May CME from a DSF from late on UT day
12 May, could increase the solar wind speed to moderately enhanced
levels through UT days 13-14 May. Geomagnetic activity is expected to
be between unsettled and active levels with the chance of G1 minor
storms and even a small chance of a G2 major storm. Auroras may be
visible on the local night of 12 May from Tasmania and the coastline
of Victoria. Aurora alerts will follow if significant geomagnetic
