ISSUED AT 0445 UT ON 01 Mar 2021 by Space Weather Services
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE
A Southern Polar coronal hole with extension in low latitudes is
expected to reach a geoeffective location on the solar disk
on UT day 1 March. Geomagnetic activity is expected to reach active
levels with possible minor storm periods. Aurora may be
visible on the local night of 1 March from Tasmania. Aurora alerts
will follow if significant geomagnetic activity actually occurs.
