ISSUED AT 0341 UT ON 08 Dec 2020 by Space Weather Services
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE

A coronal mass ejection is expected to impact the Earth in the first
half of the UT day 9 December, possibly resulting in significant
geomagnetic activity and visible auroras during local nighttime hours
in Tasmania and on the coastline of Victoria. Aurora alerts will
follow if significant geomagnetic activity actually occurs.
