FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE

The solar wind is currently under the influence of a high speed solar
wind stream from a recurrent coronal hole. This may result in
significant geomagnetic activity and visible auroras during local
nighttime hours should elevated solar wind speeds, sustained southward
Bz and favourable viewing conditions eventuate. Aurora alerts will
follow if significant geomagnetic activity actually occurs.
